Description

***UPDATED**

Due to overwhelming demand, all 2,500 advance tickets for Thursday’s show have been claimed. It is rush seating. There are STILL 500 seats remaining for walk-up patrons (first come, first served) on Thursday when the doors open at 5 p.m.

Michael Landsberg – one of TSN’s most recognizable broadcasters – is bringing his mental health story to The Battlefords. Suffering from mental illness for more than 20 years, Michael wants to create a community for those who feel isolated, misunderstood or ashamed. His message is motivating and inspiring.

Michael and special guests will host a FREE show at the North Battleford Civic Centre that is open to the ENTIRE community. The evening show (6-8 p.m.) will help parents, teenagers, children, leaders, teachers, etc., learn about mental illness and how to help.

This inspiring evening about mental health features Michael Landsberg and special guests including:

• Weston Dressler, CFL all-star

• Chris Getzlaf, Grey Cup champion

• Beverley Mahood, country singer-songwriter

• Tessa Bonhomme, Olympic gold medallist and TSN broadcaster

• Canadian rock band One Bad Son

• And many more special guests

While admission is free, donations are welcome to support The Battlefords’ chapter of the Canadian Mental Health Association.

The March 15th show is sponsored and produced with the help of Cameco. For more information, please contact jonathan_huntington@cameco.com
