M.A.C. FARRANT is the author of fourteen works of fiction, non-fiction, memoir, and over one hundred book reviews and essays for the Vancouver Sun and the Toronto Globe & Mail. Her memoir, My Turquoise Years, which she adapted for the stage, premiered in 2013 at the Arts Club Theatre’s in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her latest book of fiction (Fall 2016), is The Days—Forecasts Warnings, Advice.
BARBARA SMITH is a full-time writer and the author of over thirty books covering topics from Canadian social history to folklore to true crime. Born and raised in Toronto, she lived most of her life in Edmonton before moving to BC in 2006. She has taught writing courses for schools and private industry and is a member of the Writers’ Union of Canada. Barbara lives with her husband, Bob, near Victoria, BC. Her latest book is The Valiant Nellie McClung: Selected Writings By Canada's Most Famous Suffragist.
