Silent Films accompanied by the renowned Frederick Hodges all the way from California.

Their Purple Moment (1928, Comedy) - Starring Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. The Boys sneak out to a night club, but the Wives grabbed their money!

Get Out and Get Under (1920, Comendy) - Starring Harold Lloyd and Midred Davis. Car trouble and more prove to be significant obstacles to an amatuer actor who will lose his part to a rival if he fails to make it to the theatre on time.

Mr. Hodges is hailed in the press as one of the best concert pianists in the world, Frederick Hodges has established a reputation specializing in late romantic music as well as Broadway and Hollywood musicals of the first half of the twentieth century by America’s best composers, such as George Gershwin and Cole Porter. He maintains a busy concert schedule of stage, television, radio, and film appearances around the globe. Additionally, he is a much sought-after silent film accompanist for both live performances and DVD. He performs regularly at the Hollywood Heritage Museum, the Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum in California, the Cinecon Film Festival in Hollywood, The TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood, and at silent film festivals around the country. He also performs at music festivals around the country, such as the Sacramento Music Festival, the West Coast Ragtime Festival, and the Sedalia Scott Joplin Ragtime Festival.

From Broadway to Bombay: Around the World with Illustrated Songs:

Sean Sharp has performed with illustrated songs for the last seventeen years. His previous illustrated-songs show was “Dixie Days,” presented in beautiful New Orleans and again at the West Coast Ragtime Festival in Rancho Cordova, California. He has performed with illustrated songs at previous West Coast Ragtime Festivals, the Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival, the Shasta Silent Film Festival and the Corte Madera Centennial’s Ragtime Night festivities. He has performed with The Great Nickelodeon Show at the Turner Classic Movies Festival in Hollywood, the Giornate del Cinema Muto in Italy, the Telluride Film Festival, the Niles Essanay Film Museum and San Francisco’s Castro Theatre, among other venues. He is an original member of San Francisco’s 42nd St. Moon Productions and has appeared in over twenty of that company’s productions. His other credits include singing in the San Francisco Grace Cathedral Men’s Choir and performing with the Lamplighters and down the California coast with the Great American Melodrama.
