In partnership with Oshawa Centre,

we will be hosting our Annual Silent Santa events for families IN DURHAM REGION with children with autism. 

Many families affected by autism do not have the opportunity to have an annual visit with Santa during the holidays due to challenges with sensory processing, anxiety and difficulty with transitions.  This event allows them the chance to visit with Santa without the distractions of the large crowds, mall music, Christmas lights, and movable characters at the set.  We have changed our format this year to allow for more spaces for families.  This event will take place before mall hours.  There may be a short wait for other families to finish.

Please Note:  Time slots are 5 minutes in length. 

You will be asked to select a 1/2 hour time slot during the registration process. You will receive an email letting you know exactly when your time slot will be during that time e.g. for 8-8:30am your time slot may be 8am, 8:05am, etc.  Note:  Due to high demand only one time slot is allowed per family.  A $10 fee will be charged on registration but will be refunded on the day of the event. Each family will receive one complimentary print.  Additional packages may be purchased at your own cost. 

Registration opens on November 9th at 9am.

Attendees may be photographed by an Autism Ontario approved photographer. Autism Ontario reserves the right to use the attendees’ photograph(s) in any and all of its  printed or electronic publications. Attendees may not make monetary claims against Autism Ontario for the use of the photographs.
