What is this?
Imagine an opportunity where you can practice delivering your pitch, receive trusted peer feedback, refine your pitch, and immediately deliver your refined pitch? We’re providing such an intimate forum for you to deliver your Unique Value Proposition (UVP), your pitch, your elevator pitch, to a trusted group of your peers, in a safe atmosphere. You don’t want to live with the consequences of a poorly framed and delivered pitch at the moment the pitch matters most, and you only get one chance to make your mark. Nothing is more important than receiving real feedback before you’re standing in front of that potential future key client.
This workshop is a lead-in to Silicon Halton's Meetup 37: Pitch Night, on November 13, 2012, however you do not need to be a Pitcher for the November 13 Meetup in order to attend, nor must you attend this breakfast event to Pitch at Meetup 37. Learn more here: www.bit.ly/shmeetup37
Refinement Powered by your Peers
Your peers will invariably provide valuable feedback which will in turn help you refine your pitch so it carries the right amount of weight and leaves the best possible impact. The feedback won’t all be all roses – but it will be honest. You know what you want to hear in someone else’s pitch, yet it’s often the most difficult task to translate that into your pitch. You’re too close. You need fresh perspectives to tell you what others are hearing (or not hearing), then help you refine and razor focus your pitch.
Silicon Halton has successfully conducted “Pitch Camps” in our Peer-2-Peer groups many times and the participants have found peer-feedback to be hugely valuable. We witnessed lackluster, unclear, unfocused or ambiguous pitches become powerful, razor focused, clear value propositions.
We’re limiting the number of pitchers to 10 to maintain an intimate climate. You do not need to be a Pitcher for the November 13 Meetup in order to attend.
