About this Event

Take a novel writing workshop with published author, columnist, teacher and playwright Uzma Jalaluddin. This interactive workshop, aimed at beginners and intermediate writers, will follow the steps of the novel writing process from idea incubation, drafting and revisions, to publishing options. Learn how to craft memorable characters that spark off the page, how to plot using scene-setting techniques, how to use conflict effectively, and most importantly, tips on how to get words down and pages written! In addition, Uzma will discuss the publication process, from how to find an agent, to insights on the modern publishing landscape.

Discover how you can make your writing dreams a reality, from a busy working writer!
