Event description
If you're interested in putting your designs onto clothing, screen printing is for you!

About this event

If you’re interested in creating your own designs and printing them on something other than just paper, screen printing is for you! Screen printing allows you to replicate your own designs onto fabric, wood, metal, plastic and paper - pretty much anything that’s flat! In this class you will print your own Makerspace t-shirt while learning how to use plastisol inks on a four colour silkscreen press, and the proper curing methods. You will gain the knowledge necessary to print your own designs! \ All materials are provided!

Beginning October 1 2021, we will require proof of vaccination or negative Covid test for all workshops. If you feel unwell, or are exhibiting any cold-like symptoms, do not attend. Masks must be worn for our the entirety of our workshops. Masks must be well-fitted (no gaps), of a tightly-woven fabric (loosely-woven “cheesecloth” masks and plastic face shields are not permitted) and worn fully covering both the nose and mouth.

Standard cancellation policies still apply to all participants.

Saskatoon Makerspaces is a place that provides creative people with access to tools & equipment and the education that is necessary to safely operate them. We want to challenge the way we view consumerism by educating makers on the process of creation, while inspiring each other to transform our artistic concepts into entrepreneurial ventures.
