MATERIAL COST:

$20 payable to the instructor on the first day of class. Please bring materials to be printed on, materials must be as close to 100% cotton as possible and freshly laundered (even if new). We will connect you with the instructor 2 weeks before the workshop to discuss materials.

THE INSTRUCTOR:

K.Jensen is an alumni of NBCCD. “I describe the style of my work as that “je ne sais quoi” feel with a conversational vibe. I want the viewer to embrace the idea of the piece, to stop and look, and find the underlying theme or emotion in the work. As often my concept is expressed through the use of strategic materials and techniques. I am boutique textile designer with a flare for helping you to stand out in the crowd.”

About the organizer

NBCCD has been an ambassador for craft and design since the 1930s. We’ve run evening and weekend courses for the public in addition to our diploma programs for decades. With the Honeybee Folk School, we have expanded our programming to include courses in sustainability and traditional skills, alongside popular courses in contemporary craft and design. Just like the honeybee works best in a hive, we see a community that can work together to design a creative and flourishing future for all.
