A crash course in creating your own spoken word poetry
About this event
In this session, two-time National poetry slam champion, Dwayne Morgan, helps participants to create a piece of original spoken word. This crash course goes from original idea to writing, editing, and the use of the voice to communicate meaning and intention. Participants are left with skills that can be used to duplicate the process over and over again at their leisure. There is no previous experience with the spoken word needed to participate.
Clinician:
Dwayne Morgan began his career in the spoken word in 1993.
