About this event
Join Cleopatria Peterson, Multidisciplinary Artist, Cartoonist and Co-Founder of Old Growth Press as they take you through the process of creating a book from concept, rough draft, final files, to print. We will be focusing on layout design using InDesign and providing advice on printing and file setup so you can learn the skills to disseminate your own publications into the world. Participants will receive a PDF package that covers everything discussed and the opportunity to follow along with provided files using InDesign and Photoshop. If you don’t have these programs don’t feel discouraged, you will learn skills that are transferable to other programs!
This workshop is in partnership with Capilano University, with support from the BC Gaming Commission, BC Arts Council, Creative BC, and the City of Vancouver.
