It is with great pleasure that Concordia University and NSERC invite you to this Academia-Industry R&D networking event with presentations from academia, industry and research funding Agencies including NSERC, Mitacs and PROMPT-Quebec.

This event will bring together academic researchers and companies working on different aspects of Smart Building Technologies with the objective of creating solid and mutually beneficial research collaboration partnerships.

This event is directed to university and college researchers and companies working areas related to smart buildings, in topics such as but not limited to:


Energy management:

  • Energy management systems
  • Control systems
  • Solar power systems
  • IoT and wireless systems
  • HVAC fault detection, diagnosis, and prognosis
  • Information acquisition and data analytics
  • Building as a micro grid
  • Secure and advanced metering infrastructure

It will be an opportunity for both researchers and industry to present a snapshot of their R&D activities and interests, as well as to discuss challenges and opportunities.

The evening will conclude with a networking cocktail.
