We've had enough of being told how to look, what to eat, what we should weigh, and where our value comes from.
It's time to smash diet culture.
Step One: Get Crafty.
Bring your smashable diet culture relics - we're talking scales, measuring cups, fitbits, measuring tape, mirrors.
Use your craft-tastic skills to decorate them with whatever messages YOU want to send diet culture.
Glitter, pens, and other crafty supplies provided - but feel free to bring your own too.
Step Two: Smash
Join us Sunday, Feb 10, 3-5pm at the Rage Room and smash! (Tix available here https://smashdietculture.eventbrite.ca)
Protective gear provided.
Can't make it to the Rage Room? No problem, we'll bring your smashables and give them to folks attending.

This event launches Eating Disorders Awareness Week, which is commemorated across Canada Feb 3-9.
Eating Disorders are the 3rd most common mental illness, yet is chronically underfunded. Over a million Canadian have an eating disorder right now. Support, resources, and treatment options are essential.
