Event description

Description

Did you know that some salamanders have tongues up to TEN times as long as their body!? This workshop will explain why they need such long tongues, and all kinds of other neat facts about the various snakes, salamanders and other slithery creatures that make Ontario home. You will also learn how to identify the different species, why they need protection, and how you can help.

We would like to thank our generous funders, without whom this program would not be possible: Ontario Trillium Foundation, John & Pat McCutcheon Foundation, Patrick & Barbara Keenan Foundation, & York Environmental Stewardship.
