  • Understanding story structure and genre
  • Crafting vivid scenes and solving story problems
  • Revising your draft with confidence

You can join one, a few, or all 13 sessions — whatever fits your interests and schedule. Every webinar includes practical writing exercises, creative inspiration, and a live Q&A with your instructor.

💬 Friendly guidance, real examples, and practical tips you can use right away.
💰 Just $25 per session—attend one, a few, or all 13.

Each session will be run twice so that you can pick a time that best suits you. There will be a Saturday session at 11:00 a.m. (ET) and a Tuesday session at 7:00 p.m. (ET). A new webinar will be offered every second week to give you time to do some writing in between.

Your instructor will be Patti Murphy, a writer and educator with over thirty years experience in the classroom. She is the author of The Kitchen Sink Sutra, The Date Square Dharma and The Spaghetti Supper Sangha, but has been writing stories, plays and articles ever since she could lay her hands on a pad of paper. She has written extensively for community newspapers and has published essays in The Globe and Mail. She believes that with the right guidance, everyone can access their own inner writer.

No writing experience? No problem! All you need is curiosity, imagination, and the courage to start.
