Social Enterprise Meet-Up (April in Orillia)
Event Information
Description
Want to dive deeper into the topic of social enterprise? Want to explore, alongside others in the region, how social enterprise could be a model for your next social venture?
senco, an initiative of Georgian College's Centre for Changemaking and Social Innovation, has created the Social Enterprise Meet-Up, a monthly session exploring topics in social enterprise. This session has been created as the follow-up to our monthly Social Enterprise 101 session which we highly suggest you attend first.
The night will be led by Georgian College's Social Enterprise Mentor and session topics will be tailored by your request, drop us an email (info@senco.io) to let us know what you are looking to explore further. Each session is open to in-person and stream-in participation. This session will be scheduled for the last Thursday of the month with upcoming dates as follows:
- Thursday April 26th (Orillia) - Financial Models for Social Enterprise
- Thursday May 31st (Collingwood - South Georgian Bay) - The Social Business Model Canvas
We have received additional requests to explore Social Impact Measurement, as well the Beneficiary Role in Social Enterprise, those topics are now penciled in for future sessions.
We are eager for networks to bridge and collaboration to unfold and will foster this each session through our snack potluck that will start each night off right. We are hoping you will bring along a snack to share, chips, candy or chocolates from the corner store work well, or something homemade will also be welcome.
Looking forward to exploring tools, topics, and models to build and grow social enterprise across our region with you!
