  • Explore the social enterprise models being used by non-profits and charities in NB to address their social, environmental or cultural goals

  • Learn more about how your organizational structure can support or limit you in raising funds

  • Discover new social finance tools available to New Brunswick groups like the provincial CEDC tax credit, crowdfunding, and social impact bonds

Social Enterprise & Non-Profit Law_1pm – 4pm

Learn more about what the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) says can and cannot be done by non-profits, charities and social enterprise. Topics include

  • What changes are occurring in the CRA and how might this affect your organization?

  • What are the 4 most common areas of “non-compliance” and what happens if you lose your non-profit status?

  • How might operating a social enterprise impact your organization?

  • And basically, anything else you want to know about your non-profit and the laws and regulations that govern it!
