Event description

Description

We believe you have seen how different social enterprises can have an impact with our Social Entrepreneurship 101 event.

Now it’s your turn!

Come join us to work on your social venture ideas.

Workshops will be given by CHNGR, myVision McGill and the McGill Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship around the following questions:

Is my venture really solving a social problem? What are the different model and legal forms for social enterprises? How will I get funding? Is my venture even a social enterprise?

“Business is a very beautiful mechanism to solve problems, but we never use it for that purpose. We only use it to make money. It satisfies our selfish interest but not our collective interest.”
-Muhammad Yunus

The event is free of charge and open to both students and the general public, however, capacity is limited. Please register for an eventbrite ticket to secure your spot!
