Social Finance Workshop
Event Information
Description
We have a vision of a vibrant Atlantic Canadian economy which nurtures a diverse ecosystem where many kinds of entrepreneurs can emerge to create meaningful employment opportunities and have positive community impact.
Now is the time to create this kind of economy.
We need to develop and access new ways to finance this emerging diversity if we are to promote the Maritimes as a healthy and attractive place to live, work and play.
Let’s talk Social Finance.
Whether you are a social entrepreneur searching for ways to fund your bold ideas or you are a financier looking to engage in impact investments, this session will speak to all.
We are inviting policy makers and advocates, entrepreneurs, not for profit organizations and investors who would like to further their learning and connection to others in this field.
In an interactive workshop format, Timothy Nash joins local expertise to share experience, passion and understanding of social finance. Together we will seek to better understand the gaps and opportunities that exist in our local economy.
We look forward to exploring how we can come together to work towards this shared vision.
