Are you looking for affordable employee group benefit options for your organization?

Cost and administrative burdens create organizational barriers to access health benefits for staff and their families. Did you know that less than 50% of impact organizations (nonprofits and charities) in Nova Scotia have organizational drug prescription plans, dental, and vision benefits? To help increase access to these key services and care, we've partnered with The Community Services Benefit Trust (CSBT) and NewGround Financial Inc. on a sector-wide employee group program! CSBT is the largest nonprofit employee benefit trust, serving more than 1,000 organizations across Canada, which allows price volatility to be minimized.

Join us for a lunch and learn on Monday, April 3rd at the Halifax Central Library to discover more about this program, accessing supports, and to see if these benefits are right for your organization.

Registration is free of charge. Lunch will be provided, and attendees will have the opportunity to connect with members of the sector, and ask any questions about the program. To take care of our communities, we need to make sure our people are taken care of first.

About the organizer

Impact Organizations of Nova Scotia was founded in December 2012 (as The Community Sector Council of Nova Scotia) to act as voice for the nonprofit and voluntary sector, and to help build skills and capacity to help organizations be as effective as possible in their work.

A core part of our work is to provide capacity building opportunities to help organizations better achieve their mission through access to high quality training, resources, and skill development. The root of our capacity building efforts is the vision of the Community Impact Sector equipped to affect positive change and address systemic inequities. Our theory is that the sector will be most impactful when organizations develop the capacity and build skills to nurture healthy workplaces, cultivate innovation, and operate sustainably.
