The evening will kick off with a keynote presentation by Michael Shuman – a world renowned expert on local economy and a prolific author.
To be released in May, Michael’s ninth and latest book, entitled The Local Economy Solution: How Innovative, Self-Financing Pollinator Enterprises Can Grow Jobs and Prosperity, provides social entrepreneurs with an exploration of successful by LinkWiz" href="#">business models of the new economy. See from the expert’s vantage point the ways forward for for-profit and non-profit organizations alike and gain insight into what makes an initiative successful.
The keynote presentation will be followed by brief presentations from six Calgary social entrepreneurs who are by LinkWiz" href="#">actively working to deliver economic, environmental and social benefits through a variety of business models. Guests will then connect with these presenters and each other to explore needs and by LinkWiz" href="#">opportunities for cross-pollination.
