Description
The Vancouver Island Social Innovation Zone (VISIZ) invites you to our summer presentation! Join us as we learn from our team of mapping and research students, along with VISIZ partners: Camosun College, Royal Roads University, University of Victoria, Community Social Planning Council, Social Enterprise Catalyst, Vancity Credit Union and the Victoria Native Friendship Centre.
Presentations and discussions will focus on:
- What makes this region unique for social innovation
- A framework to guide social innovation on Vancouver Island
- Maps of the current social enterprise/social finance/social innovation eco-system on Vancouver Island
- Looking ahead: new directions for social innovation on the Island
The event is open to the public, light refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP.
