Social Networking Event

The AMPP Calgary Chapter (Formerly known as NACE Calgary) is proud to announce that the Spring Social Networking Event is back this year.

The venue selected for this year’s event is Wainwright Hotel in Heritage Park, Calgary. The Wainwright Hotel is a replica of an original hotel, first built in Denwood, Alberta, then moved to the town of Wainwright. The hotel was once the center of the town's social activities, and it provided a large, elegant setting for networking.

This year’s spring event includes a Glenmore Reservoir tour in S.S. Moyie. The S.S. Moyie, built-in 1898, was originally intended to ferry miners to the klondike gold rush. Instead, the Canadian Pacific Railway put her to use on Kootenay lake to ferry passengers from its rail terminal at Kootenay landing to Nelson, B.C. The S.S. Moyie was gradually replaced and demoted over the years. In 1965, Heritage Park commissioned the building of a half-size replica of the S.S. Moyie, which uses a diesel engine for the paddlewheel.

6:00 pm – Doors open to Wainwright Hotel / Registration

6:30 pm – Boarding S.S Moyie

7:45 pm – Returning to Wainwright Hotel

8:00 pm – Dinner

Cost of the tickets:

Members: $35

Non-members: $40

Student Members: $25

Student Non-member: $30

• Members will be required to provide their member ID.
• There are only limited tickets available!

Each sponsorship package includes 2 tickets.

1. Registration Table ($1000): A corporate table banner at the registration table.
2. Food ($1000): Corporate logo at the buffet tables.
3. Drinks ($1000): Corporate logo on the drinks card.
4. Dining Table ($1000): Corporate logo at all dining tables.
