Social Ventures Mastermind invites impact makers to take part in this series of interactive learning sessions.
Topic of the week: Goal Settings for Changemakers – Start strong for the new year. How do you go about setting and achieving your goals? Share your own tips and tricks, learn from those of your peers, and let’s work through some amazing goal setting and productivity tools together, especially to start strong on our social impact goals for 2021.
Through this Social Ventures Mastermind series, you will:
- Gain access to tools and frameworks
- Engage in discussion with peers focused on social impact business
- Share your goals and challenges
- Get help from experts and like-minded peers
- Help other changemakers based on your own past experiences
- Find partners and supporters to work with in future
- Focus discussion on topics of your choice
Sessions Setup: After a quick welcome, participants can introduce themselves and their social impact projects. The session facilitator will introduce the week’s topic which may include a short presentation to share tools and prompts where needed. Most of the session will focus on guided group discussion and Q&A to ensure that participants will engage in the exercises for idea generation, problem solving, and learning.
Notes for attendees:
- To create an engaging experience, available tickets are limited to a small group. Register fast and if you take a spot, make sure you come.
- The session is meant to be interactive. Though not required, we encourage attendees to keep microphones and cameras to make the most of the discussions.
- If you are looking for some specific support, you can stay after the guided part of the group event and speak with a member of the Social Venture Circuit team.
- All sessions will be held virtually on Zoom.

Session Facilitator: Zahra Qureshi founded Social Venture Circuit as a non-profit organization in 2020 to share her passion for social enterprise. After gaining valuable corporate experience as a qualified CPA, CMA, she started her own firm Optinum Professional Corporation in 2018, providing services in the areas of accounting, finance and social impact and also serves as the CFO for cleantech startup Ecosystem Informatics Inc. She graduated from the first cohort of the certification Level 1 Community Development for Good from Common Good Solutions, to expand her expertise and focus on professional services specifically designed for businesses focused on community development and social impact. She also supports startups and entrepreneurs through workshops and mentorship with local incubators.
