Event Details

Ever sit in a meeting with a great idea? You sit there, waiting nervous about finding the right time to interject – hoping to be asked, or finding a break in the meeting. Before you know it, your colleague speaks up and you realized they were thinking the exact same thing.  The idea gets accepted, everyone else jumps on board to support it, and you’re left behind resenting the fact you remained idle. Or, do you look around and see how some colleagues have a natural ability to connect well with everyone?

These are all a component of soft skills. Training in this area reaps dramatic improvements in career advancement and leadership progression. For years, business executives have been turning to Improv training as a way to develop these skills.

Humour is a powerful tool in the boardroom. It is a great way to forge deeper connections with peers, bosses, subordinates, and clients. I’m a big advocate of improv training and have benefited in my career from years of doing it. Because of that, I have invited Asiansploitation to return for what I intend to be an annual workshop on Improv. That’s how much I believe in its benefits. Don’t discount the value of this training, as I often joke, comedy is a serious business.

If you lack soft skills and charm, this is the activity that will help you gain it in spades. Don’t miss it. This is one of the best activities to help you in your career advancement.
