Software Freedom Day is the opportunity to learn how Open Source solutions can make your life easier, and make your ideas come to life. We will be giving presentations about Open Source solutions and answer questions if you have trouble finding what open source solutions would help you to implement some of those ideas that you have had on you mind for the longest time. This event is ogranised by members of OSGeo Ottawa. Join in for an afternoon of open source learning moments and beers.

There will be presentations and if you have an problem you need to solve, we will try to help you to find the Open Source Solutions you could use. The goal of the presentations is to show how Open Source Tools can empower you. It is also a good opportunity to meet new people that share the same passion for Open Source and problem solving.
