Event description

Description

Join the Etobicoke Master Gardeners (EMG) at the Humber Arboretum for a free workshop on Soil Health. You’ll learn what soil is made of, how good soil supports plants, and how to test for basic soil types. We'll look at the benefits and basics of composting, along with providing an introduction to mycorrhizae - what it is, its benefits, and how we use it.

You'll learn how to feed your soil, so your soil will feed your plants!

This workshop is part of an ongoing series of Eco-Garden Community Workshops offered by the Etobicoke Master Gardeners at the Humber Arboretum. Look for "How to Garden Smart, Not Hard!" coming up in January.
