Description

Victorian Tea - May 18

Join us Saturday, May 18 from 3 - 5 p.m. for a celebration of Queen Victoria's 200th birthday with a trip into Cambridge's epicurean past. Local historian Carolyn Blackstock will talk about her 'Julie and Julia' experience of cooking her way through The Galt Cook Book - a local community cookbook published in 1898. The Victorian tea will feature a tasting menu of treats recreated from these recipes.

On display at the FHM is Victoria 200 highlighting the Queen's influence on fashion, and one of her personal garments!

Tickets are $25.00 each, include food and beverage plus admission to the Fashion History Museum galleries between noon and 5pm May 18th. Please check in at the front reception desk prior to the start time.
