Solid Game Ideas: Where Do They Come From and How To Develop Them?
Wed, 26 April 2017, 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM EDT
We’ve all heard or read about Design Thinking, Lean UX Flow or innovations theories, but making sense of it all can be daunting. Taking the point of view of game conception and inspiration from artists, Nicolas Eypert will share his personal experience on how all of this work together and more importantl, how to transform these aspects into tools to work on your own game ideas.
Nicolas has 25+ years of industry experience, starting as a programmer in the 16-bit era, up to being Creative Director at Ubisoft Montréal. He has worked on both AAA games and new creations in the online space. He stills does his own programming to prototype ideas. Lately his focus has been on coaching creative designers on developing their ideas by mixing his own tools with other creative processes.
He also recently created a game conception toolkit (The FunBox) for the Ubisoft Montreal Studio that helps anybody work on their game ideas.
