Yes! It is possible to have an interactive singing experience and connect with others online!

SongRise is a different kind of choir, where creative expression is the point! We create music on the fly--guided by our ears, our hearts and our intuition. Open to all levels of singers, noodlers, songwriters, music lovers. Starting with a vocal warmup and guided exploration, all singers are muted so you can feel free to stretch out and experiment at your own pace. Then we take turns unmuting and move through a variety of playful exercises. I am still amazed by the music we are able to make together!

Orignally an in-person choir, SongRise lends itself surprisingly well to the online format. All you need is a good internet connection, headphones, and willingness to explore. Basic ability to match pitch and rhythm is recommended.

If you are interested in checking out the ongoing choir, it runs most Thursday evenings, 7-8:30pm Pacific Time.

*This is an adult group, but children are welcome to participate with their parent during the muted warmup.
