"Crystel Clear is well known as a trailblazing MC, vocalist, dancer and twerkshop facilitator in the PNW festival scene for the past decade. Now in 2022 she emerges as the tastemaking DJ her friends and fans have secretly known she’s been the whole time. Always in demand to command the aux cable at house parties, on yachts and on glamping trips, her knack for knowing the music to vibe up the moment right is undeniable. With 3 years of co-curating the Light Twerkerz Lit Mix series under her belt, and now running boutique label Butt Hertz Records, you can trust her selections are savvy to the world of booty shaking beats - from dancehall and grime, dubstep, trap, rnb, jungle and everything else that inspires twerkthroughs on the dancefloor. And from years of cyphering with the Freestyle Focus Group, you can expect her live vocals to heat up the mic as she DJ’s her original productions and collaborations alongside bass-heavy dancefloor enlightening jams. “Free your ass, and your mind will follow!”

"Born in Vancouver to a pair of first generation immigrants from St Kitts, Tsehai has grown up with twerk & dancehall culture since she was young. Since first connecting with Light Twerkerz at Bass Coast in 2018, Tsehai has taken her dancing to the next level as a core member of the crew. As lead facilitator of twerkshops, she spreads positive vibes by shaking her behind, and elevates cultural awareness with authenticity."

"Rich Nines is a master multi-genre DJ with over 25 years experience starting from Toronto’s rave heydays in the 90s. Now based in Vancouver, he’s lived on and off Salt Spring for over a decade and has been a legendary dancefloor catalyst at many of the island’s most memorable sound system events since 2010. From Beaver Point Hall, Fulford Hall and Mahon Hall to magically-named farms like Earth Candy, Neptune, and Phoenix, Rich Nines has shared the stage with headliners like Adham Shaikh, Kursk, Chris B., and local luminaries of bass music [TBC], Brontron, Matsya, Leland Riiivr, Goopsteppa, Commoddity, Okiro, Applecat, and Mykey Boom. Currently resident DJ of Art Battle live painting events in Vancouver and Victoria since 2015, half of the Pink-E & Brane breakbeat hardcore duo, and co-curator of the Lit Mix series with Light Twerkerz founder Crystel Clear. Soulstish marks his first DJ set at BPH since 2019, and first set for Open:Ended since 2016expect a bass-heavy booty-bumping good time on the dancefloor when Rich Nines is on the decks!"
