This intercultural festival is a celebration of all of our stories and traditions. It's a fun, community-focused and FREE event for the whole family. Come celebrate the first day of winter and the longest night of the year with your community!
An engaging and enchanting evening of hot chocolate, apple cider, tasty treats, entertainment and fun for the whole family!
Come with your own lantern creation or come as you are and create a lantern at the event.
EVENT SCHEDULE:
5:30 pm Check-in/Lantern making
6:00 pm Lantern Procession in the park
7:00 pm Solstice celebration and entertainment
(Light refreshments included for registered participants)
Please dress for the weather - this event will take place rain/snow or shine.
This is a standing event, feel free to bring your own chair if you wish to sit while enjoying the entertainment.
*If you are bringing your own lantern, please make sure to use a battery-operated candle. Fire is not permitted in the park.
