Description

Drawing on contemporary understandings of grieving as a meaning-making process, Dr. Neimeyer will discuss what this implies for individuals and families negotiating loss as they strive to manage emotional challenges of mourning and reconstruct a continuing bond with a loved one who is physically absent but psychologically present.

Robert A. Neimeyer, Ph.D. Universityof Memphis, USA, is one of the foremost authorities on grief and bereavement. He isa Professor of Psychology at University of Memphis where he also maintains an active clinical practice.
