Event description

Description

Join us at the Haysboro Community Centre for an uplifting family weekend filled with music, prayers, learning, service opportunities, recreation and, above all, CONNECTION!

Adult Program (ages 15+): Widening the Circle through Spiritual Conversations with Drs. Michael and Judie Bopp

Using learnings from Michael and Judie Bopp’s initiatives in their home cluster, as well as inspirational talks given by Abdu’l-Baha, participants will strengthen their capacities to engage in uplifting and meaningful conversations. The program will include a variety of discussions and activities, as well as actual practice in small group settings throughout Calgary.

Junior Youth Program (Ages 11-14): Bahá’u’lláh and His Bicentenary

Guided by older youth and in anticipation for the upcoming Bicentenary of Bahá’u’lláh's birth, this program will, through activities, arts, discussion and games, help our Junior Youth to develop their powers of eloquent speech as they learn to share the incredible life and Person of Bahá’u’lláh with others.

Children's Program (ages 5-10): Who is Bahá’u’lláh?

Through stories, songs, games and activities children will learn about the extraordinary life of Bahá’u’lláh.

Childcare (ages 0-4)

Unfortunately, we do not have the rescources or space to provide childcare for children under the age of 4. However, there is plenty of green space as well as a playground on-site for parents who wish to take part in the program as much as possible. Children ages 4 and under are free of charge.
