The “Spark” Program is for tourism entrepreneurs and their creative ideas to address the sustainable tourism opportunities on the Bruce Peninsula. The purpose of this information session is to learn more about the program, how the “Spark” grant can help launch your tourism idea.

The purpose of the grant is to instigate creative entrepreneurial thinking, to expand existing tourism offerings in order to motivate people to come, stay and spend more. The tourism market of today is savvy and selective. They want to visit where there is an array of experiences. Especially those that expose the local flavor, are educational, interesting and fun. This program sparks that creative thinking in a way that speaks to this new market of visitors.

Selected applicants / program participants will receive:

3-month mentorship with a recognized tourism innovator and/or industry mentor;
$3,000 "Spark" grant; and
Access to a support network of tourism innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders.
