For more information or questions, please email us at events@mcrs.ca.

We will have a sign-in table. If you do not have your ticket (s), please bring ID so that we can match your name to our list of ticket holders!

A portion of your ticket is eligible for a donation receipt. In accordance with Canada Revenue Agency, the receiptable amount is equal to the total amount less the value received by the guest. For this event, the receiptable amount is $70.

Is my ticket transferrable?

This is a charitable fundraising event. Your ticket price includes a portion that is tax receiptable. Ticket purchasers can assign tickets to other guests, however, receipts can only be issued in the name of the person purchasing the tickets.

Can I get a tax receipt for my silent auction item?

The purchase of silent auction item is not eligible for a tax receipt as the purchaser is receiving something in return for their money. However, if the purchaser pays more for an item than its actual retail value, the difference is eligible for a charitable tax receipt. The actual retail value or fair market value of items will be listed in the description for each of the items. This is the value that will be used to determine the eligibility for a tax receipt.
