Speaker Series "A Conversation on Compensation", presented by WIL Victoria Chapter.
WIL Victoria will be hosting a Speaker Series Event, titled “A Conversation on Compensation” where they will facilitate a panel discussion with 3 phenomenal panelists who will share their journey to leadership and address a number of questions related to compensation, how to navigate negotiation and ultimately how to empower women to get what they want and deserve.
Speaker Bios
Fotini Iconomopoulos, Author, Speaker, Negotiation Consultant; Forward Focusing Inc.
Fotini Iconomopoulos empowers audiences all over the world through her expertise in negotiation, communication and persuasion. Business executives partner with her to achieve their business goals and create a competitive advantage. Fotini occasionally returns to the classroom as an instructor of MBA Negotiations at the Schulich School of Business in Toronto. In addition to her features on TV, media and outlets including CNBC, Forbes and Harvard Business Review, this critically acclaimed author has been recognized with multiple awards including a 40 Under 40 award.
Angie Jackson, Talent Acquisition Lead; CGI
Angie has been finding great talent globally for over 25 years. She joined CGI in 2009 and currently leads a stellar team of experienced IT recruiters, helping to build our growing teams in the 6 regions of western Canada, from Winnipeg, MB to Victoria, BC.
Dionne O’Gorman, Director Consulting Services; CGI
Dionne is currently a Director of Consulting Services in Vancouver and a member of the Vancouver Board of Trade. She has had her own consulting company where she has helped companies, governments and people within the transportation industry. She has held senior roles with Sun Life Financial, Canada Post and Air Canada. She served as a Board of Director for White Ribbon and the Greater Hellenic School Board. She is a daughter, mother, wife and can be found skiing, boating and hiking on the North Shore. Her favorite thing is to travel – why I always learn something from getting out of my comfort zone.
