Introducing the first event at Loyalist College for the Speaker Series! Join us on December 1 for a fireside chat with Arlene Dickinson, esteemed entrepreneur and star of the hit TV show Dragons’ Den.
Doors open at 4:30 PM. Event from 5:30 - 6:30 PM.

About Arlene
Arlene Dickinson is the General Partner of District Ventures Capital, a venture capital fund focused on helping to market, fund, and grow entrepreneurs and their companies in the food and health space. A three-time best-selling author and accomplished public speaker, Dickinson is widely recognized for her role as a Dragon/Venture Capitalist on CBC’s award-winning series, Dragons’ Den. Ms. Dickinson’s leadership has been recognized through countless awards and honours, including the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Award. She served as an Honorary Captain in the Royal Canadian Navy for many years.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Loyalist College Foundation to support awards, bursaries and student scholarships.
