Speaking Crow February 2022 Virtual Edition with Bola Opaleke

Welcome to Speaking Crow the Virtual Edition! Just as before, we will be meeting the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm, this time via ZOOM.

We have two registration options:

1)Register to be part of an enthusiastic Speaking Crow audience, and receive the ZOOM link to attend.

2)Register to be one of the open mic readers, and receive the ZOOM link to attend. Limit 25, first-come-first-served.

Registration for both options will remain open until 7:05 pm. Note the new deadline. We will start at 7:00 sharp! (Please only registered for one ticket per person: the audience and open mic links are identical.)

Bola Opaleke is the author of "Skeleton of a Ruined Song" (IceFloe Press) and winner of the 2020 Thomas Morton Prize in Poetry. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in journals like Prairie Fire, Frontier Poetry, Rattle, CBC Books, The Nottingham Review, The Puritan, Literary Review of Canada, Sierra Nevada Review, The Indianapolis Review, Canadian Literature, and many more. He holds a degree in City Planning and lives in Winnipeg. Bola is currently Arts Community Director with Winnipeg Arts Council Board of Directors.
