Speaking Crow May 2021 Virtual Edition with Kristian Enright

Welcome to Speaking Crow the Virtual Edition! Just as before, we will be meeting the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm, this time via ZOOM.

We have two registration options:

1)Register to be part of an enthusiastic Speaking Crow audience, and receive a ZOOM link to attend.

2)Register to be one of the open mic readers, and receive a ZOOM link to attend. Limit 25, first-come-first-served.

Registration for both options will remain open until 7:15pm (only register for one or the other, not both).

Featured Guest

Kristian Enright is a Winnipeg writer whose central concerns involve place, mental health, philosophy and the art of debating. He is currently at work on a play called "Pipelines" that is a protest play about the climate crisis. Other projects include a collection of short stories that involve the vitality of dialogue. His newest work is an ecological long poem that deals with the consciousness of space and is situated on the prairies. This work is entitled "Postmodern Weather Report" and is the culmination of a long period of time, and an excavation of the poet's mind in order to produce more resonant epiphany space.
