Event description

Description

Are you quite critical in your self-talk? Do you judge yourself harshly? Is it hard for you to accept yourself as you are?

In this workshop, we will explore tools to start speaking to ourselves as a true best friend would: with patience, acceptance, compassion, kindness, and levity. This highly interactive time will use lots of exercises so we can develop a loving inner voice. It will also include guide meditations.

You will learn:

  • How to speak to yourself with more kindness and compassion
  • How to stand up to your inner critic
  • How to introduce new self-talk messages that will support you in creating your right life
  • How to have an inner speech that is lighter, more courageous, and more calm

Studies have shown that those who practice a more loving and positive self-talk enjoy:

  • Better health
  • Stronger immune systems
  • More calm in their lives
  • More success
  • More fun
  • More connection to themselves and others

Come learn these skills in this highly interactive workshop. Tickets include a copy of Maryse's new book Speaking to Yourself with Love: Transform Your Self-Talk.

Maryse Cardin is a self-talk coach, Zen Buddhism meditation practitioner, and university communication instructor. She works with clients to help them discover and stand by their own true authentic voices. Visit www.selftalklove.com
