There isn't a textbook that spells out how to succeed in your career. So instead, we give you

 NABS West Speed Mentoring 2017
 
Spend an evening asking those very questions and gaining valuable wisdom from some of Vancouver’s top marketing, media, and broadcast professionals in the industry.
 
NABS West Speed Mentoring encourages participants to take the leap and immerse themselves in an evening of fast-paced networking. Each student has the opportunity to meet with three to five mentors of their choice where they can make their way through one-on-one conversations, where mentors will impart knowledge, advice, and answer questions pertaining to the industry, networking, and succeeding in an ever-changing industry.
 
Take your passion for learning to the next level by participating in this vigorous networking event and find out how you can enter this industry ready, confident, and excited.

 The earlier you register the higher your chance is of landing your top five choices for mentors. This is your chance to ask questions to industry professionals one on one, so don't miss out on this unique opportunity.
 
It is mandatory for mentees to choose their top five mentors from the mentor list upon registering for the event. You will be given six minutes with three to five of the mentors you have chosen. If you didn’t choose any mentors, then you will be randomly placed with a mentor.
 
 
This is a networking event meant for students and industry juniors to be introduced into their prospective industry. While follow-up connections are welcomed by some mentors, please do not bring resumes, portfolios or other self-promoting collateral to present to the mentors. Pitching and promotion are not allowed at this event and NABS reserves the right to revoke admission to those who do not follow these guidelines.

If you are buying a student ticket you will need to show your student ID along with your ticket at the event.
 
 
What can/can't I bring to the event?
 
Bring a notebook, pen, business cards, smile, and your eagerness to learn.

 

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
