SPH Virtual Prenatal Workshop - Breastfeeding with Harp

St. Paul's Hospital is pleased to offer a breastfeeding workshop to complete your prenatal experience. This class is taught by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and will give you the information you need for a positive start to breastfeeding your baby.

In this workshop you will learn:

-The anatomy of the human breast and breast changes that occur during pregnancy that are important for breastfeeding

-Understand the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding

-Know how to set yourself up for an abundant milk supply-Learn the technique of hand expression

-Understand baby's cues for feeding-Identify how to tell if your baby is getting enough milk

-Troubleshoot and identify potential breastfeeding concerns

-Know when to seek help and where to get it
