Spinning Cashmere
Overview
In this workshop, a natural brown cashmere top from Mongolia will be our starting point. We will begin our exploration by spinning a series of hand-blended batts created by the instructor that feature this soft, pearlescent fibre. Then spinners will design their own cashmere yarns by experimenting with fibre blends and/or yarn structures. Join us for a day of spinning devoted to spinning luxurious cashmere yarns - be prepared to fall in love with this drool-worthy fibre!
