Minimum grade is students who will start grade 2 to 6 in September 2017 school year.Basic Skills & Problem Solving I & II Grades 2 - 3 9 AM to 12 PM
This program is primarily intended for students entering grades 2 and 3 who want a “refresher” before school starts. It is also ideal for new students who would like to experience the spirit of Math classroom, or establish some skills before starting the school-year evening classes. Content includes addition and multiplication drills, number theory topics such as regrouping and mental math and mental math, and problem solving topics such as consecutive number problems, counting shapes, date problems, cuts and pieces, and integers.
Basic Skills & Problem Solving II Grades 4 – 6 9 AM to 12 PM
The program is primarily intended for students entering grades 4, 5 or 6 who want a “refresher” before school starts. It is also ideal for new students who would like to experience the Spirit of Math classroom, or establish some skills before starting the school-year evening classes. Content includes integer addition and multiplication drills, number theory topics such as relocation, integers, primes, divisibility rules, lowest common multiples, and a large variety of problem solving topics, including Venn diagrams and date problems.

1 to 4 pm
Course Description: Join Dash and Dot, the world's greatest explorers! Learn how to program Dash and Dot to discover treasure, dodge booby traps, and make maps using an intuitive graphical coding language! Learn about sequences by creating a travel story. Use loops and if statements to solve puzzles and react to the unexpected. Create art, dance and play music in different countries around the world. Come put your coding knowledge and adventure training to the ultimate test!
1 to 4 PM
Course Description: Mechanisms can be combined to create very complex behavior in machines and robots. Transmitting the mechanical power from the drive motors of your robot to the various wheels, arms, and attachments requires selecting between a number of different gear systems, pulley systems, belt drive combinations, cam systems, lever arms, and multiple linkage systems. But which is best to use for your application? A robot that can lift, race, walk, jump, or move its mouth and eyes requires complex engineering. Can mechanisms be used in combination? Students will explore in depth the advantages and disadvantages of different mechanisms and pneumatics as they design robots to accomplish exciting tasks. We will also take short journey into how mechanisms and animatronics can display robot emotion. Master the skill of mechanical robotic design!
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There are plenty of parking spaces.
What can I bring into the event?
If attending only morning or afternoon classes, just a snack and beverages for the students. I full day, two snacks and one serving of lunch.
