Kim Sutherland - The Universe said...

“YOU are going the wrong way” and the plot that was my life changed! Please join me as I share the journey of the year I was fired twice, divorced, almost homeless and what shifted to get me to be the person in front of you.

Shannon Pole - Stop Should-ing on Myself

For as long as I can remember, my life was directed by what I thought I should be doing... until I found myself at the cottage, so exhausted that I wished I was home, away from friends and family. Um, what?!?! Luckily, my brain was alert enough to realize that thought as the wake-up call it was. I began my journey of reclaiming my decisions for me and my life, and to stop should-ing all over myself.

Marianne Fischtner - Then and Now

I grew up as a first generation Canadian in a small village in the 60’s. Having a German last name was not popular and they let me know it. I used those experiences to not build a wall around me but as a bridge to walk over.

Brenda Blais Nesbitt

I never truly understood how my dreams could change in an instant. Until they did. I will share what it takes to be a “soul” provider for my daughter and how that journey has led to a life that has taught me love, courage, resiliency, and hope.

Isobel Granger - Smashing the Glass Ceiling

1. “Self-Advocacy” – How I show-up in my own life determines how others treat me. When I respect myself, others respect me?

2. Resilience – when I stand before a door (metaphorically) I turn the handle, if it’s locked, I ask myself the question “what opportunity does this locked door present?” I then find another way.

3. Awareness – I long ago developed a keen awareness of the situation of women, it allows me to help others through adversity.

Looking forward to 'seeing you', soon! When you sign in, please introduce yourself and share what you're eating or drinking, in the chat box.

Tickets are restricted to one ticket per order. If you would like a ticket at no charge, please email elizabeth@spokenlives.com
