Event description

Description

These four awesome speakers will share their personal stories of adventure, successes and what they learned along the way. Arrive at 6:00 pm to enjoy dinner (included) and our speakers begin at 7:00 pm. Monday, September 30, 2019 (6:00 - 9:00)

Kelly Wilk Ricard, The Merry Widow

I know grief. I was introduced when my father died when I was 19 and reacquainted when my wife died when I was 34. With a young child, chronic illness and disintegrating house, it sucked. I figured the only way for me to thrive was to go with my strengths, laughter, creativity and a little vulgarity. Turns out I was right.

Morgan Frey, So Many Questions

I will share my experiences of life as a multiple amputee. The questions I ask and the questions I am asked. How I am assumed to be able bodied because I don’t show the expected “traits” associated with my disability. And how that brought me to a life in theatre.

Leanne Babcock, All Because of a Niggle!

I walked away from a successful and secure lifestyle, sold up my life in New Zealand after 29 years, moved back to Canada, bought a truck camper and lived in it for 12 months while touring with my first book from coast to coast. I did all of this….because of a niggle!

Celeste Shirley, Impossible “No’s”

The last time I saw my daughter, she was eight months pregnant and living on the street. No matter how I tried, I was not able to help her. As her mother my heart broke and in the hurt, I discovered how to step back.

This wonderful event always sells out in advance. Please secure your tickets, to avoid dissappointment.

See you soon!
