Event description

Description

Join us at Jabberwocky for our first Ikebana workshop in this unique space upstairs at Union Local 613 in downtown Ottawa. No flower arranging experience is necessary, and the cost of $35 includes all floral materials required for you to create your own beautiful Japanese floral arrangement. Some light snacks will be provided by the chefs at Jabberwocky with additional food and libations available as desired, from Jabberwocky's menu which includes "vegetarian/vegan chow, with galumphing wines, brillig cocktails and frabjous beers"

Ikebana is the six centuries old art of Japanese floral arranging and Derek Ju-Sen Kitchen holds the rank of Second Term Master with the Ohara School of Ikebana, Tokyo.

Attendance will be strictly limited to 20 participants so please register early to reserve your spot for what promises to be a creative and tasty evening.
