Government Funding For Tech-Based R&D Initiatives

About this Event

Is your business taking full advantage of research and development tax credits?

Through the Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) Program, Canadian businesses can leverage tax incentives to conduct research and development, regardless of size of company.

Jennifer Running, Senior Manager from BDO Canada LLP, will review SR&ED opportunities for government funding, how it works and how to enter the program. This webcast will demonstrate specific COVID-19 program changes and how businesses can maximize funding relief in conjunction with leveraging other programs.

Topics include:

  • Income tax deduction
  • Investment tax credit
  • Refunds

The SR&ED Program provides more than $3 billion in tax incentives to over 20,000 claimants annually, making it the single largest federal program that supports business R&D in Canada.

Registrants will also have the opportunity to sign up for a Virtual Office Hours session on June 5th with experts from BDO who will provide individual complimentary sessions for your business and to further discuss these opportunities.
