COMMUNION SERVICE

Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the provincial government will not allow us to gather for Mass. This is heartbreaking, sad beyond words, tragic, unexpected and unexplainable (given “the science”).

Cardinal Collins has allowed us, however, to have a “Communion Service” with up to 7 people at a time, to allow as many people as possible to be in the church (observing the social distancing requirements as given by the government) and to receive our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.

Each family will be able to attend the Communion Service approximately 1x per month

Weekends are segmented by Last Name and there are an equal amount of people in the groups.

Families from the same household may register together, but one ticket is required per person.

Registration will require the full names (last and first name) of all the people in your household that will be attending the Communion Service, your mailing address, telephone #, and email address. Please make sure to fill out all of the required fields.

Registration is per household and to a maximum of 6 people.

Your registration will be cancelled if you are late for your registered time.

Please note that every reasonable precaution has been and will continue to be taken by the Archdiocese of Toronto to protect your health and safety. However, there can be no guarantees of complete protection as there will always be risks of contracting viral infection through large gatherings.

Please do not enter the church if you have a temperature, feel ill or have been in contact with a COVID-19 positive individual over the past two weeks.

• Please arrive 10 minutes before your Communion Service Time.

• We ask that you attend Mass online: https://www.youtube.com/c/stbarnabasto

• You will be emailed a set of prayers and we ask that you say these prayers before coming to the Church at home or in the parking lot

• Face Masks are MANDATORY, as per the City of Toronto's By Law

• There will only be one entrance into the church. Please look for signs marking the proper entrance door.

• Sanitize your hands upon entry.

• Please maintain physical distancing at all times. Stay 2 metres (or 6 feet) away from others.

• Please follow the direction provided by ushers/volunteers for seating.
