You're invited to attend St. Mary's Heart Month community event!

Heart Disease: Understanding the Nature of Risk, Prevention & Recovery

  • Dr. Andrew Falconer, St. Mary's new President will provide greetings.
  • John Annis, a 46 year old St. Mary's cardiac patient, will share his unique journey from cardiac crisis through to recovery.
  • Dr. Matthew Chamberlain, St. Mary’s Cardiologist, will share how hereditary factors and lifestyle choices affect heart health, the transformational benefit of cardiac rehab and the future vision for cardiac "pre-hab".
  • Dr. Brian McNamara, Chief of Cardiovascular Services, will provide an update on how St. Mary's Regional Cardiac Care Centre plans to respond to the rapidly expanding and aging population of Waterloo Region.

FREE parking, admission and light refreshments
